I have sensitive skin. Can I wear your Sols?

We feel you, us too! That's one of the many reasons we started Untamed Sol. All of our pieces are hypoallergenic and have had no complaints. 

What does Gold Filled mean? 

We love Gold Filled because it's a much more economical option than solid gold, but with the same beauty and solfulness. Jewelers create gold filled jewelry by pressure bonding an actual layer of gold to another metal. 

Wearers who are sensitive to certain metals can wear gold filled without worries of an allergic reaction. Although the layer of gold in gold filled pieces varies depending on the manufacturer, it is in all cases, significantly thicker and more durable than regular gold plating with up to 100 times the amount of gold. Gold filled accessories, with proper care, can last for years.

We use both US and Brazilian gold fill which means you are getting between 3%-5% gold in each piece bonded to a base layer. While we strive to use US gold fill as much as possible, we also strive to keep our jewelry affordable for our Sol Tribe. Brazilian gold fill is our most affordable option while also still honoring our mission to bring you wearable and sustainable jewelry. 

How long until my Sol ships?

Our estimated time to process and send orders is 3-5 business days. We strive to send them at the speed of light, but we guarantee five business days. If your Sol takes more than 5 business days to ship we will let you know and make it right!

How long until I receive my Sol? 

After your Sol ships, it takes another 3-5 business days to arrive depending on it's destination. We know you are ready to be Solkissed and we want you to get your items as soon as possible. With that said, the carrier is in control once it leaves our headquarters. 

My Sol is later than expected.  Who do I get Untamed on? 

As noted above, we always strive to ship as quick as possible and within 5 business days. Once it's with the carrier, we can't guarantee that it will arrive by a certain date as they are their own boss. Our carriers are usually reliable, but since our Sols are in someone else's hands, we simply can not guarantee that they arrive on a certain date. We ask for and appreciate your patience. If we guarantee for a holiday, we will let you know the order by date.
