Our Story

Welcome to Untamed Sol! I'm Amy, the proud owner and founder of this San Diego-based jewelry brand, born in November 2022. Jewelry and self-expression have been passions of mine from a very young age. Some of my fondest memories are of making jewelry with my grandma and hosting fashion shows for anyone who was at her house. Those precious moments sparked a lifelong love for jewelry-making, which eventually led me to create this business and fulfill my dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

Moving to San Diego brought a sense of fulfillment and freedom into my life; that, coupled with my obsession with the sun, inspired the creation of Untamed Sol. When I started the brand, it was just me and my dog Teddy, who was affectionately known as the VP of Sol. Although Teddy has since passed, his spirit lives on through our brand, now championed by our amazing brand ambassadors who help me bring the sol of our company to life.

Our collection is a curated mix of pieces I design or create myself, alongside selections sourced from other talented designers. Inspired by what I call the SOLful living of San Diego, every piece at Untamed Sol carries the warmth of the sun or whispers a SoCal story. From sunset hues to carefree vibes, our jewelry reflects the SoCal spirit and invites you to express your untamed self.

We aspire to be your trusted brand for high-end jewelry. All of our pieces are 14 or 18 karat gold-filled or heavily plated. Gold-filled jewelry undergoes a process where thick gold is bonded onto a base metal using heat and pressure, allowing the gold to be molecularly bonded and highly resistant to tarnish. All our pieces, whether plated or filled, have at least 2 microns of gold.

Our mission is to provide affordable high-end jewelry because self-expression and sustainability shouldn't cost a fortune!! At Untamed Sol, we believe in offering you quality pieces that you can cherish and wear confidently every day.
